Wow! Happy Australia Day!

My girlies and I went forthwith to Wikipedia to read all about the First Fleet and penal colonies and deprivation and hardship and starvation and success and survival and growth. And now, of course, Australia is one of the grooviest continents/countries in the whole wide world!

Congrats!

Butch:
All occasions, great or otherwise, are worthy of celebration when I'm with you.

Cake:
It is indeed a BIG day in a BIG country.

Thank you.

Groovy:
Thank you Groovy. This comment belies your previous comment about Americans not necessarily looking outward to learn.

Your girlies are lucky in the teacher they have.

K9:
Thank you.

Aunty:
Why thank you... and you would be most welcome to come visit.

Phosgene:
Waltz and Matilda *snicker* Two terms you'd hardly ever hear an Aussie say... but thanks anyway mate.
