IF IT WERE UP TO ME...

I would prefer to see these three in jail for life... rather than killing them and giving them the martyrdom that they desire.

I understand where you're coming from Bear and their beliefs make your point even more valid. Still, I would like to see them die in the same way they killed those poor 202 people.

They caused so much pain to so many people, far beyond those they killed many of whom were very young. I have no sympathy nor compassion for them. I only wish they weren't going to be shot as it's far too quick. They deserve to die the same slow, agonising death they inflicted on all those innocent people.

At least they will die for a reason, those 202 people didn't.

I agree...I would rather see them live and suffer.

Angel:
I see what you're saying and I understand the sentiment completely, and even more so if I was a victim, (which I would've been but for seven days) so I don't dismiss your view at all, Angel. However I do struggle to agree with it for a whole lot more reasons than I can put into a single sentence and a pic.

(Perhaps it's time for me to start blogging for real again)

But thank you for your thoughts.

Thursday:
I don't have a problem with them being made to endure, suffer, the shame and humiliation they would feel if they were allowed to rot in jail.

Thank you for your thoughts too.

On the one hand I'd like to put them in Long Bay with a bunch of thugs who hate Muslims, that would sort them out. They don't seem remotely remorseful to me. They're probably envisaging the 42 virgins they've been promised for killing the infidels.

On the other hand I feel justice would best be served by the death penalty even though in most cases I am against it. I am vacillating because I will be upset if they become martyrs as a result of their execution. I am glad the decision is not up to me.

Okay here's the deal.

I'll go along with the executions if we can somehow arrange for each of the 42 virgins to be male.

Poetic justice... I like it.
