Good one, as usual. Clean coal IS an oxymoron. But how jacked up are we to the alternatives on a mass scale? I'm very curious as to why so-called environmentalists won't touch with a ten foot pole a major root of the problem: Six billion folks and counting . . . and all of 'em wanting a First World lifestyle. Gah. I think I just un-happied my Monday!
Moi:I sometimes wonder if we'll ever address the real issues properly... chipping away at the edges will do very little in the long term
Kiki:In a country like Aus, we really should be taking wind and solar far more seriously than we do.
Fishy:I do see merit in 'clean coal technologies', I just feel that we (Australia) tend to look for a single 'silver bullet' solution when we should be far more inclusive of all technologies and target them where they will work.
I cant help about the shape I'm in.
I cant sing, I ain't pretty and my legs are thin.
But don't ask me what I think of you I might not give the answer that you want me to.
Now, when I talked to God I knew he'd understand.
He said, stick by me and I'll be your guiding hand.
But don't ask me what I think of you I might not give the answer that you want me to.
Oh well.

I don't know either. But glad they don't burn it here.

Happy Mute Monday.
I love the oxymoron.
I'm puzzled too. By definition coal is dirty.
Great switcheroo on CLEAN.
Happy Happy MM!
Great concept. I started to do a clean fuel thing and went another way. Happy MM!
Very political. I hope that as renewable energy technolgy becomes more advanced, we'll see less and less of these pictures.
Happy MM!
TROLL:Shipping coal around the world is a money earner for Aus, but we also burn a heck of a lot of it too.
Ree:I love me a good oxymoron.
Boxer:Thanks Boxer, I try.
Pamokc:Yes, once I hit on this idea, there were plenty of images to go with.
Buzz Kill:I'm with you, Buzz.
All:Thanks guys, happy MM to you all.

Nice, I learned something today. Probably should have been common sense, but we don't use coal here. Happy Monday!
Bear, I am sorta getting the idea you don't think " Clean Coal" is a doable thing? Great MM theme, have a happy.
Great theme you went with. I loved the oxymoron cartoon as well.
