Hey, lemme have one of those and I'll give it the ole Groovy scuff and scratch. (My hubby says my ill treatment of cars is God's way of keeping him humble.)
Love your "My Life" banner. The photos were excellent. I took some shots of an old Belaire, have to post them when I get the film back - hope they turned out ok. Happy MM.
Troll: Thanks… yes even a ride in some would be pretty good.
Java Junkie: Thanks Java, and the older cars seem to have a charm all of their own.
Kate: Thanks… a work of art in some cases.
Gypsy: Tehe… I suspect that it’s the dirt that holds everything together, am I right? And I too am looking forward to the next MM, to get away from vehicles as much as any other reason.
Cake: Think of all the hours that went in to looking after those bodies… shame I can’t say the same about my own tubby bear body.
Moi: Hang on… are you saying you’re a junkie for sexy cars, or are you a sexy junkie? Tehe.
Selma: Car Copper Car Copper You’re out of your mind, Car Copper Car Copper My speed was on th’ line.
NYD: Porsche held a ‘50th Anniversary of Porsche in Australia’ car show in 1998, and I went along. Some of the cars were truly awesome.
Groovy: …after which you hand the car over to MM and he’ll give it the ole Cut and Polish.
Phosgene: Thanks, I think that banner says it all.
I would love to see those pics when you post them. Local car manufacturers here were heavily influenced in the late 50s by Chevy and others. So I can appreciate a good Bel Air.
I cant help about the shape I'm in.
I cant sing, I ain't pretty and my legs are thin.
But don't ask me what I think of you I might not give the answer that you want me to.
Now, when I talked to God I knew he'd understand.
He said, stick by me and I'll be your guiding hand.
But don't ask me what I think of you I might not give the answer that you want me to.
Oh well.

Two automotive MMs in a row... sorry about that. But I promise there won't be one automobile to be found in my next MM... even if the theme is WHEEL.
(But please TROLL, don’t test me on that.)
Very cool. I want some or all of those rides. Happy Mute Monday!
What a great take on the theme, Bear! And what stunning pics! Happy MM!
Those are some beautiful rides! Happy MM!
I love all those lovely shiny cars. I wonder if mine would look like that if I washed it :)
Wonderful and different (?) take on the theme Bear. I look forward to seeing what you come up with next week.
Happy Mute Monday.
Fabulous bodywork! Did you shine them all yourself? And I loved the interior of that limo. Happy MM x
Dribble. Drool. I'm a sexy car junkie. Happy Mute Monday!

Goodness gracious, Bear! Hoo-whee! What beauties. But, uh..that 9th photo down, is that a COPPER car?
Fine take on the theme!
Happy MM!
Aunty:
Yep it's a copper 1920s Rolls Royce.
Thanks and happy MM to you too.
I'll never be rich enough to afford any of these, but I do love the one with the circle-shaped door.
Three words: Must Be Nice :)
Janna:
Expensive tastes I see... that's a Rolls Royce too.
Short:
Too cryptic for me, Short, but thanks anyway... I guess.
Happy MM.
I moreso meant must be nice to have a car like that :)
